A special stay
Visiting From: Germany
Visited In The Month Off: February

From the moment we arrived we were so warmly welcomed. We received a deep insight into the village and local culture we had not expected. The human encounters and warmth of our hosts will stay with us as fond and special memories. The food was delicious. A special moment was also when we were able to help with Coffee bean picking. Plus just sitting on the porch and admiring the birds was lovely.
Certainly a place to return to, if we are able to visit India again. Thank you very much for a very special stay.

Perfect place for holiday

Perfect holiday destination for us. Homestay is surrounded by coffee plantation including cardamom, pepper, banana, Orange and etc. They have many colorful flower plants. House is guarded two pet dogs. They have a cute cat and especially they have Love birds. around Family members are so kind. Food and ambiance is very good. They will guide you to plan the tour. As soon as you book the homestay you will receive a call from owner and will get you the details about weather and food habits. Coffee, Chicken curry, Fish fry, vegetable curries and Coorg special breakfast are very tasty. Thanks for the hospitality. Thanks to Rohini family for your hospitality.

Wonderful stay

A homestay located at a beautiful location near a hill top. It was a pleasure just taking a walk and breathing the fresh air. The rooms were comfortable. The hosts, Chandrashekhar and Rohini went out of the way to make us feel at home. Rohini cooks the best meals I have had in a long time as well as makes great wine. She ensured that veg and non veg were catered for accordingly. I thoroughly enjoyed their company as well as their young daughter Sushma. If you enjoy walking amongst the greenery then this is the place to go.

Amazing place!

Its a really nice palce to stay.

The host and hostess (Mr & Ms Gowda) are amazing people and their hospitality really made our stay memorable.

Accomodation - Very nice and clean in the midst of green scenic beauty.

Food - Rohini Aunty is an amazing cook, the food is delicious (With multiple fresh options)

Accessibility - Bus stand is near by to go to Medikeri main town, (In case you are bringing your own vehicle, there is enough place to park)

Also as a parting gift they gifted us with fresh produce from their large (7 Acre estate)

I would surely stay at Parivar home stay on my next visit to Coorg.

Parivar homestay review
Visiting From: Udupi
Visited In The Month Off: December

We had stayed in parivar homestay for 2 days when we had visited Madikeri for vacation. It is located in Kathlekadu about 13 km from Madikeri. The route is like the typical Coorg routes with lots of turns amidst coffee plantations. Environment around the homestay is very calm and peaceful and its surrounded by the homestay owners' coffee plantation. We received great hospitality from the owner's family. They also showed us the viewpoint nearby and their plantation. Every day they had also set up a campfire in the night. House is clean, well maintained, and in a safe place. The food served was tasty and in sufficient quantity. Overall it was a very positive experience and would like to recommend staying here.
