It was a wonderful stay in this homestay. Not only for the excellent homely ambience but also for the home caretaker Mr. Prakash. He is very caring and the food they cook is awesome and yammy. Kids also will enjoy for the two lovely dogs ?. I have plans to stay next time there again especially in the tent ?. Overall very neat and clean, caring, homely. Cherry on the cake they have given us few mangoes also.... Totally it was 'WOW'.

Great location and ambience, tucked away about 6 kms from Madikeri. Takes you to a different world, one which you would have come away for.
Comfortable rooms, clean towels and linen, no smell in the rooms, though look old fashioned.
Modern spacious bathrooms.
Breakfast was sumptuous and really tasty. We got dosas and bread and jam. Tea, coffee or milk is your choice.
Service and hospitality of our host Mr Prakash was excellent and made us feel really at home.
Outdoors were great, overlooking a small valley surrounded by green hills.
Two friendly dogs, bulls and a few hens completed the farmhouse picture.
No regrets. A definite yes.!

Our stay at Coorg Hideout was the most memorable one. Prakash Ji is a very loving and caring person and made our stay most comfortable. He took care of all our small needs and provided jaggery made coffee and inhaler when i fell ill. The food prepared by Prakash Ji's wife is so delicious, we never has such delicious idli sambar and nariyal chutney ever in our life. The pet "Kariya" used to accompany us for morning and evening walks. Overall all, we made good memories in coorg majorly because of our stay in Coorg Hideout. Would love to visit again.

Amazing & serene stay

Coorg Hideout's best part is the amazing location & the team of caretakers. I travelled with my family and had a very enriching experience. The stay was made extremely comfortable by Prakash Ji & his team who were up on their toes every time we wanted them. The best part being "no signal connectivity" and we weren't bothered about our cell phones for the 1st time. Will definitely be returning again & again to this beautiful home stay.
