A serene homestay

 by Anuja Desai

I am going to write only good things about this place because I am unable to find any faults..
This place is approx 20 kms away from main town Madikeri.. You can call Mr Harish after reaching Madikeri for route details as Google maps can be confusing at time and one might not get proper internet connection inside the woods. It's so quiet and serene. A definite recommendation for people wanting to stay away from the hustle bustle of the main town. Mr Harish was very helpful in arranging cabs for us for sightseeing.
The food, OMG!!! Out of this world, even finger licking good would be an understatement. I cant put it into words, one has to eat it to enjoy it completely.
The host and the staff are so homely and cheerful people. They will provide with almost anything you ask for with a smile on their faces. It truly feels like a homestay.
Thanks Mr Harish and family for giving us such wonderful memories.

We were looking for a quiet, remote and serene place to take a break at, before we resumed our hectic schedules after summer. Verdure homestay proved to be just the right place. The rooms are really cozy, and the estate gives great vibes of a secluded, tranquil environment. Mrs Harish's food was great, and so were the staff, always polite and ready to be of any help. Any special request for food or travel, if informed beforehand - would be taken care of by Harish himself. Would definitely recommend this place if you want a quiet break, far away from the din and bustle of city life.

Deep in the woods it was a heartful relishing experience from monotonous life, specially for nature lovers. The service was pleasing for the comfortable stay and for those who are fond of dogs, they will have their own way to enjoy with the friendly trained dogs present there. In one word it was not just a worth stay but a lovely place bagging so many memories.

Great place amidst the woods in the coffee plantation we had been with friends,Warm hosts and great home cooked food. Had been for a short trip but the stay and Coorg as in place both were amazing.  Food is traditional & tastes excellent. And yes without mentioning abot their three dogs and Ozzy being the great friend to all the inmates. Last but not the least we were not having the network in our mobiles which worked as icing on the cake.So we really hanged out with each other as a big great family

Great interior & exterior ambience. We were 4 adults & 2 children hence room was concern however Mr Hari blocked us an extra large room which could accommodate more than us. Food is traditional & tastes excellent. Special thanks to Mr Hari & his wife for accommodating my request for local delicacy. Overall it was fantastic & memorable experience for my entire family in the coffee estate.
