Undoubtedly it is the best homestay. It is ....Very Clean ..Awesome hospitality..Beautiful scenes near by..Fantastic pets..Extremely cheap and best rated..
Perfect place for a weekend getaway. Awesome food, clean house, reasonable price, beautiful trail to reach the pond(where we can feed fishes). I fell in love with not the homestay, but with a family member as well(Scooby).PS: Scooby is their pet dog.
We were group of 6 from bangalore. Its was first experince staying in homestay. It is located at amidst coffee estate and very beautiful place. The hospitality is highly satisfactory, the owners Mr. Vijay and family are very responsive at everything. It is the best place to stay outoff the city to spend a wonderful time in the nature.
Homely, Pleasant and Peaceful
Located in the amidst of forest,Bluemist Home stay is falls near to Virajpet,Bagmandala and Talacauvery. Our family was completely delighted being there. The hospitality is highly satisfactory, the owners Mr. Vijay and family is very responsive at everything. we were a group of 9 persons not disappointed at anything. I suggest this could be the best place to stay off the city to spend a wonderful time in the nature.
Homely, Scenic, Priceless
Very well placed far from any urban areas like Madikery or Virajpet. And this makes this very peaceful and placed amidst nature. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and their house has their own coffee estate and farms around it. Two nice dogs, their own cattle and plenty of places nearby to visit or walk down to. Aunty makes amazing pork dishes amongst other decent food menu offerings.
We were a group of four who decided to stay at Blue Mist homestay, and we were not disappointed. The host Mr. Vijay can speak many languages and he along with his son were very polite and hospitable. We had a spacious room and the food was simple yet tasty.
If you are looking for an affordable homestay away from human settlements, this is the place.
Great experience !
We were 5 friends from Bengaluru, wanted to do a newyear eve celebration far off BLR and chose this homestay in namma kodagu. Very nice hospitality and decent homestay ! Kodava style Food was the standout for me and my friend still relishes the pork curry 🙂 . And also they helped us with campfire and snacks till 2 in the morning , that was really memorable ! I would recommend this place to my friends in future !!
A pleasant experience
We were two couples in our 50s and 60s. Homestays suit us just fine. Especially if your hosts are eager to please and helpful in every way. Blue Mist actually is a homestay with real people living there and taking care of their plantation.
Knowledge of Kannada would help if you want to talk to the ladies of the house. The owner, Mr. Vijay Kumar speaks good Hindi too. The rooms are comfortable. Food is yummy. The view of the surroundings very nice. All rooms are on 1st floor, where it has an all round balcony.
The approach road: Even the last mile is well connected from the main road. Drive from Bangalore is very smooth barring a stretch of just 4 Kms near Gonikoppa. We drove from Kannur though. No bumpy ride there either.
Overall: Value for money,. Hospitable, clean and very comfortable.
It is located amidst forest, coffee estate. Very beautiful place. They take care of you as a family. Food was ok. But the place itself is superb. Worth every penny
